Green Building Facilitation

India has the third largest built environment sector after China and the United States. This built infrastructure uses a huge amount of energy, emits greenhouse gases and produces wastes. A green building is one, which uses less water, optimizes energy efficiency, conserves natural resources, generates less waste and provides healthier spaces for occupants, as compared to a conventional building. To mitigate the impact of built infrastructure in cities, various certification programs are available such as LEED, IGBC, GEM and GRIHA in India. These certifications aim to regulate the infrastructure and promote sustainable building practices to preserve urban ecology. At Sustainergic Tech we provide consultancy services for Green Building Certification for all types of certification.

Water Audit

A water audit is a study of the water use of an entity. It starts at the point where water enters the premises and goes up to the point where the waste water is discharged, critically examining all aspects of use. The audit establishes the quantity/volume of water being used, wastage if any, leakages existing, excess use etc, and identifies areas where consumption can be reduced. It critically examines existing treatment systems and practices and recommends changes to improve efficiency and reduce usage. Conducting a water audit involves calculating water balance, water use and identifying ways for saving water. Water audit involves preliminary water survey and detailed water audit.
